  • I TOTALLY agree with this...well said =)
  • Here, here!!!
  • I agree with this!! Rather than bring her weight gain to her attention (which I'm sure she's aware of), invite her to do some physical activities with you =) I believe this is the best possible way to address the situation without causing animosity between you!!
  • Overindulging and being lazy!! Now, I pay attention to what (and how much of it) I shove in my mouth, and I exercise as often as possible! No excuses, no boo-hoo story, just owning up and being responsible =)
  • Also invest in a pair of running shoes specific to the way you run...I used to have knee and lower back pain after long runs and now I don't even notice my knees or back =) Don't get me wrong, like a previous poster said...I still get "soreness," but your body will tell you if it's something you can push through or if it's…
  • I have a cheap little one that I bought at the grocery store for $10...I use it just about every day =)
  • You may want to invest in a conversion chart...be it an app, or a website, or in a cookbook. I use an app when adding recipes...works like a charm =)
  • I don't use one and have lost 74 pounds so far =) If you plan on eating back your exercise calories (this works for some), than I would suggest getting one. I would think that you'd want to make sure that you're not eating back more than you've just burned!!
  • I'm a fan of hot tea =)
  • Just start your pace a little slower and speed up towards the end...you CAN do it =)
  • I've always been on the feeling colder side, but I've noticed that since I've lost weight it's become much worse!! I too have a space heater under my desk that I'm using right now and have used this whole past summer (and it was in the 90s most days)!!! I thought that maybe it had something to do with the amount of water I…
  • You're doing a GREAT job!! Hope your foot feels better soon =)
  • I think what you are looking for is under the FOOD tab and then the RECIPES tab. It has become my electronic cook book...hahaha =)
  • I did this race last October, and my husband and I are doing it again this October =) Last year I wore a pair of black, fitted exercise capri's and my Dawn of the Dead fitted tee-shirt. There were a lot of people done up like zombies and it made it really confusing, but it added to the chaos and it was a total blast!!!
  • We eat dinner between 5-6pm. It's the last time I eat for the day and not for any other reason than I'm just not hungry. I don't suffer from night time munchies like my husband...he always has a bowl of cereal before bed ;)
  • I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this game!!! The only way to be sure is to use an HRM, but since I don't have one, I stay under my calorie allowance and I don't eat back my exercise =)
  • Yeah - I have a friend that does the 30 Day Shred and she logs it as circuit training, general =)
  • Re-evaluate and reorganize our financial portfolio =)
  • I drink 10-14 cups of water a day and I've notice a difference in my skin!! It's not as dry, much softer, and my face has a nice glow and a more even tone...I don't wear makeup as much as I used to because I don't feel I need it =)
  • I logged on Thanksgiving and will again on Christmas. I feel that my calorie allowance is enough to enjoy the holiday without being gluttonous. I am going to be conscious of my intake and try to stay in control =)
  • Yeah - see if you can look up the menu to where you ladies are going so that you can make a smart choice before you even get there =) You can do this!!
  • I just wear a tee shirt and a pair of exercise capris (it's much easier to exercise when you don't have to worry about pulling your pants our of your crotch every five minutes)...I also take a bottle of water. Unless you are taking the toning class, you won't need to bring anything with you. It's soooo much fun...I hope…
  • No it doesn't. Most people won't build that much muscle. You're right...I didn't mean to post that part....but I am correct about the eating right and exercising regularly =)
  • Sounds like you may be building muscle...it weighs more than fat =) Be patient...as long as your eating right and exercising regularly, the rest will come =)
  • I have the same problem!! I've been doing this since the 1st of August and I've only lost 1 stinking pound!! Everyone else in my group on here has lost in the double digits and it's hard sometimes not to get discouraged, but I keep reminding myself (with my husbands help =) that it's a slow race and that the important…
  • Much like storing fat when you don't eat enough, your body will retain water when it doesn't have enough causing you to feel bloated and your hands, legs and feet to swell. I find that drinking at least the 8ozs. of water each day makes me less hungry. Water is good for your skin and I feel GREAT!! Try it..you'll see =)
