Would love thoughts on stalling out...
Ok, so here's my journey. I am 5'3". SW: 192.2lbs, CW:176.8lbs, GW: 140lbs. I began running many months ago, but I was eating too much so ended up just maintaining my weight. Just under five weeks ago I began on a very strict diet that has me on a solid 1100-1200 calories a day. My resting metabolic rate is 1500 calories,…

Pinched a nerve....grrr....
So last night I was pouring myself some water out of our filter, turned to put it back in the fridge and I apparently pinched a nerve dead center of my back. It still is sore and stiff today and I definitely can't move fast, so I'm going to have to skip my run today....which sucks because running is kind of my meditation…

I am SO EXCITED to read this recent discovery...A kind of bacteria that can live in the stomach could potentially be the cause for eating disorders and could be curable with antibiotics, saving who knows how many people from years and years of psychological torture! Of course you never want to dismiss mental health issues…

How do you deal with siblings and weight?
I am the oldest of four sisters. I've always been the chubbier one, and I'm sure that part of that is because I'm 6 years older than the next oldest, and 12 years older than the youngest. However, in the last year, my weight hasn't changed much, but all three of them have gained - and I'm not even joking - a minimum of…

Hi! New to mfp and starting on big push tomorrow
Hi all, I've been teaching myself to run for a few months now, and now that exercise is no longer a struggle and I actually really enjoy it and miss it when I can't do it, I'm starting tomorrow to make a big push toward a strict, structured diet so I can lose weight! I'm currently 5'4", 192lbs with a large frame, so my end…
