Accountability/Mini Goals Thread
I used to find myself making excuses....but not anymore! I've become far more accountable through my use of mini goals. I know this concept isn't new, but I've just begun to discover the joy of it! Basically, at the start of every week, I create a to-do list of everything I need to get done at home, a workout schedule (as…

What are your goals?
Every success story starts with someone setting a goal. Big or small...a goal is a goal - something we push ourselves to do and want to achieve. What are you goals? Mine (for this week) are: 1. Prepare breakfasts I can take to work 2. Log everything for the next 7 days - no excuses 3. Get at least 1/2 hour workout in every…

FitBit Decision!

It's 5-10 minutes of stretching, designed to get us up and out of our chairs and moving. Participation is optional. Since I've started here, I have never participated in the Take 5. I…

Mixing It Up
I recently started myself on an exercise plan. I walk 1.5 miles a day, 4 days a week, do yoga for an hour 2 days a week, and mix in strength training a little bit each day (except Fridays, which are my days to rest). Does anybody have any other advise as to what I could add/modify in this plan for improved results? I'm…

Round 2
I started with this app a year ago...getting on track to being healthy, happy, and in better physical shape. My life took a drastic turn, and now I'm back, but much heavier and unhappy. I've never been a "fit" girl, but I feel as though I hit a new low this time. But, I'm giving this a second chance. I've been exercising…
