hypothetical... if you are lifting X amount of weight for X amount of reps and for the next workout you increase the weight, but your reps decrease and you wind up with a total volume of weight that is less than the last workout are you progressing? ie: Workout 1: 150/8 X 5 sets = 6000 lbs. The Last 10 Pounds
I was just wondering... if the last 10 pounds are always the hardest to lose, would it help if you set bigger goals? ie: if you want to lose 50 lbs. make your goal 60 lbs... but it's probably a mental thing and your brain will know... I'm sure I'm not the first to think of this.
