I haven't had this issue, but I think a couple of times a week it is okay to go 14:10... in fact I've read that it's good to change it up every once in a while... sometimes when I'm preparing my meals for the week, I just taste what I'm cooking and that'll be good enough for that day and then this weekend is my families…

Most likely... it comes naturally to me

Thanks Nordlead... my weight is going down (except this week), but I don't focus on that... I've lost 2 inches on my waist so far and it's going down every week, no matter if I lose weight or not.

I'm not even thinking about speed yet, I don't think I could go any slower though, I calculated my pace at just below a 10 minute mile... but I'm only running 90 seconds at a time so far. Hopefully I'm in it for the lang haul also, but I also have my daughter's beach wedding in Aruba in June to work towards.

Thanks Brian, very encouraging.

Thanks for your responses and suggestions. I ran stairs for months... 5 minutes at a time, 5X during my workday, but apparently that just makes you good at running stairs as it didn't translate into running on the track or in the park... although I'm sure it helped cardio wise. 5x5 I'm using to build some strength back…

Hi Lisa... welcome... just prepare yourself... you will typically lose 5 - 10 pounds the first week (water weight), but after that it will slow down to .5 to 2 pounds a week depending on how aggressively you are approaching your diet... Good luck to you and don't be afraid to ask for help.

best thing I ever ate and probably the cheapest, was a fresh loaf of Dark bread with a thick crust, cut into 1 inch thick slices with fresh unsalted butter... sometimes it's not the food itself, but the circumstances or even just the environment you're in and the memory that stays with you... like sitting by a river in…

Night-Shifter and Weekend-Shifter here for most of the last 25 years... I wonder how that will affect me when I finally retire, LOL But I love the perks... less traffic, parking in front of my residence when I get home, extra pay for night and weekend work, quiet house after work, LOL

Way to go Ashley!! Great Job!

It's been a couple of months, but I think I had trouble fixing my macro goals in MFP through my desktop, but I found a way to do it via the APP... or vice versa

Thanks Fuji... I was feeling good about increasing the weights until I decided to do some math, LOL So I'll stick to the new weight until I reach 8 reps on each set and then increase it again.

I have a typically small NY apartment... For my strength training I have 9' X 4' area between my bed and a book shelf and there's an adjustable bench in this space also, I have no problems doing most exercises, squats, bench presses, deadlifts, etc... only for DB Flyes do I have to angle the bench just right.... as for…

Hi Donna, welcome... make yourself at home

You can't target a particular area when it comes to fat loss... your body decides where it comes off of first... so you just have to get rid of body fat in general until the belly fat is gone... targeted exercise will build/ strengthen the muscles but the fat in front of it will not be affected.

I'm the type of person that only drinks a little, but when I drink a little I turn into someone that drinks a lot

Yea Staci, I can see that... the same workout you did at a heavier weight now uses less energy because you are moving less weight... makes sense... so I'm thinking you either have to increase the time or the intensity of the workouts... or for strength training increase the weight... we used to say in Cycling, "It doesn't…
