Issues with a little weight gain after loss
About a year ago, I was at the tail end of losing a total of 50 pounds. On MFP, I only lost 30 of it, but still. I worked really hard and it was really awesome. Then I started working two jobs, had a back injury (that I still have but found out there's nothing "wrong" with my back, so eff it, I'll just suck it up and deal)…

Fitness Tracker
So, I wasn't planning to do this because I know it's been done do death but I'm at a loss. Here's what I need: I need a fitness tracker that is waterproof or resistant enough that it won't get damaged when I do dishes in a commercial kitchen at work (not often, but often enough), that will track my daily activity as well…

For me, that isn't the case at all. In fact, when I was…

Shin splints
So, I have an issue with shin splints. I've had them since I did Insanity in 2013. They didn't bother me much until this year when I started running (embarrassingly short distances very slowly). When they really started becoming an issue, I went to my doctor and she basically said to take ibuprofen before I run and to ice…

Vacation to Washington DC
So my hubby and I are going to DC for a four day weekend this month. I'm a bit nervous about this. I'm not a big binge eater or anything, but I do know that my biggest gains always come from eating out too often for too long. Any tips on keeping it in check without ruining our trip by trying to plan every meal? I want to…
