Recipe builder problem?
Is the recipe builder being funny for anyone else? I put all my items in for a recipe, and it shows the calories right until I save it, and then it's changing the recipe that I had at 53 calories per serving to 2 calories per serving when I log it. It did this the other night with another recipe too (using the phone app).…

Anyone have Rehbands or Exosleeves?
Have you tried both? Which do you prefer? Also, how do you measure? The Exosleeves website says to measure 15 cm below the knee cap, but doesn't specify if that mean the top or bottom of the knee cap. I'd assume top since that seems closer to the place the bottom of the bad will hit, but I don't know and it means a size…

When did you first have to deload?
I've been doing SL for 3 weeks now. I haven't deloaded yet, but I feel like it's coming...and maybe I should have already anyway. I'm hoping to get a video tomorrow of my squats, but I struggle with my right knee, and am feeling weak in that area...I'm supposed to lift 75 lbs tomorrow. My OHP yesterday was pretty shaky on…

Canned green beans
This is probably a silly question. Calorie counting canned green beans. The can says there are about 3.5 servings in a can, 120g and 20 cal per serving. That should make about 400 g per can. I drain and rinse the beans. No liquid. And when I measure the beans I only get around 240 g per can every time I use them. I can't…

How do I log whole chicken?
I bought my husband a smoker for Christmas, and he just finally put it together and wants to smoke a chicken. I have it ready to go in, but I don't know how to count it? It's whole, so skin on and bones in...does this add anything to the meat (the way cooking a breast with oil would add to my count?) if I cut my portion…

Should I have lowered my calorie goal?
I started here in March as a 197-195 lbs. 5'6.5" female. 30 yrs old. I stay home with my toddler, workout 6x a week anywhere from 45 min to 1 1/2 hrs (lifting and cardio) and have my level set to active with a goal of 2# per week (just to come a bit closer to the goals spit out by IIFYM- 1910, Scooby calculator- 2111, and…

Can/should I start the stronglifts 5x5 to my workout regiment?
I am new on my journey, but pretty dedicated. I've lost 11 lbs in this first month, which I realize is more than I should, but I have another 40 to go to be at my goal weight of 145, so it's not like I'm already light and losing a lot quickly. We've also recently moved to a new state and I don't know anyone. I stay home…

How much should I trust my HR monitor?
I wear a Polar FT4 everytime I work out. When I log my calories burned, I'll put the exercise I did into MFP, but I'll adjust the time to be inaccurate in order to get the calories accurate for what my Polar says I burned. I'm curious though how much I should trust it? I'm not supposed to trust MFP...I'm not supposed to…

Confused with BMR, TDEE, MFP, and exercising?
I hope someone out there can help me understand. I've read through all the announcements, and I feel like the more I read, the more confused I am. MFP says that I should be eating about 1200 cals/day. I think that sounds ridiculous. I'm 30 years old, 5'6.5", and 190 lbs. I used the Scooby's Workshop calculator, and it says…

How should I log this?
Last night I baked some cut veggies in the oven (red pepper, zuchinni, summer squash, red onion, baby bella mushrooms, and asparagus with a little olive oil and some salt and pepper in case anyone is wondering. It is DELISH!). I weighed every single one in grams after I cut it up, measured out the EVOO, and added the…
