Martial art injury?
Yesterday I was at my Tae Kwan Do class and was working on a side kick drill. I apparently straightened my leg too early (the instructors were running at me with pads and I had to stop them). Sore and protein?
So I'm just wondering, I am quite sore right now and thought If protein is needed for muscle building, could it possibly shorten the length of DOMS? Or maybe it's a preventative approach? Or does it really do nothing but give your muscles the means to get stronger and bigger?

Progress?
So the black and grey is from May 2nd and the pink is from today. Does it look like any progress to you guys? I'm definitely feeling it so that's what counts I guess.

At risk of stupidity...
Forgive my ignorance, but if you cannot build muscle at a deficit, what's the point in strength exercises? I am in no way trying to be sarcastic I am simply clueless.
