Ketostick Question
I have been low carb for three weeks. Made some mistakes in the beginning, but I've been below 20g carbs for two weeks now. Week two, the sticks were in the middle pink color. This past week, they've been dark! Today, the color shifted back to medium pink. No cheats. Well, one diet soda. Other than that, no cheats. Is this…

ED is a liar
It's true. Our eating disorder lies to us. For example, ED tells me that if I don't eat perfectly every day, I have failed. That's a lie. The truth is that even skinny people, people of "normal weight", even health nuts don't ever always eat perfectly. Hey! Sometimes Triple Chocolate Meltdown happens. And once in a while,…

Tired
I am tired. Physically and emotionally. I wake up tired. Then I zombie my way through work, work out, second job, after school/work chores and activities. It's horrible and I wouldn't wish it on anybody. With that said.... I've been doing a lot of reading about BED lately in an effort to find help. Over and over I'm…

carbs or protein before the gym?
I'm having some issues that I need help with. I am one of those 2hr gym people. An hour of cardio and an hour of weight training. What is going to be more beneficial for weight/fat loss: carbs before the gym or protein? I usually lift before work in the mornings then go back for cardio after work. My job is very physical…

Greetings from VA.
My name is Kelly. In two days I will be 47. I live in Virginia with my husband, daughter, two dogs, and 13 chickens. I began my journey to better health in January of 2014 at 282 pounds. Through eating healthy, weight lifting, and exercise, I lost 90 pounds. Since December of 2015, I have gained 30 back. I now weigh 216…
