Bored of weightlifting now
Been doing this since 2012, utterly bored of it. Causing more pain and tiredness than strength or muscle. Admittedly I've been cutting for most of that time, but I haven't got anything out of lifting weights that has made it worthwhile. Every plan I try I get bored of very quickly. And now I'm not sure what to do anymore.…

Loss of strength and chest exercises
Hi, regular question asker here with two more questions to ask: 1) I've recently suffered quite a sudden drop in strength, I've went from being able to press 22 kg dumbbells for eight reps to struggling to do likewise with 18 kg dumbbells. I guess my question is has this happened to anyone else before? (I'm going to guess…

North East England
Hi, just wondering if there are any other MFP members from Northumberland/North Tyneside area? If there's anyone else actually from Blyth I'd consider that amazing. I'm easily impressed so another person existing in the same area of land I occupy and using the same website as me would be quite a big thing.

Farmer Walk Alternatives
I've googled this question and not come up with any suggestions, can someone please tell me what would be a good alternative to farmer walks? My gym doesn't have anywhere long and clear enough to do this. And carrying heavy enough weight on a treadmill means I struggle to then reach up to the console to switch it off when…

Is getting a 'pump' important at all?
Up until recently the veins in my left arm would really stand out during a workout, after and just generally randomly at any time of the day. Not so much in my right arm though. But since I increased cardio last week from about zero minutes to 15-30 minutes a day it seems to have stopped doing that completely now. Can…

Mesomorph/Ectomorph/Endomorph
Are these body types really all that meaningful or it it just one of those BS things? I'm reading all types of things saying I should seriously cut back on carbs because I'm apparently some type of meso/endomorph and I'm going to pile on fat easily if I eat more than a low amount of them. Which horrifies me somewhat…

Struggling a lot with eating
Can't go too long on a cut without losing the will to live, sort of. Have little energy in the gym anymore, can't remember the last time I actually felt energetic. I either crash and eat too much or get scared of food altogether and eat little. Is there any specific diet that can help with any of this. I've read so much on…

5 x 5, 5/3/1
Anyone getting much success from either of these in terms of strength gains? Currently in week three of 5/3/1, are these sort of plans good for when you're cutting calories?

Maintenance or cutting after Christmas indulgence?
Hi, as per the title, I have a feeling after eating plenty at Christmas it's better to then go with maintenance calories for a week or two before starting on a cutting diet?
