Recipe idea - pork wrap? Suggestions?
We often do a pork butt in the slow cooker and then pull it. I'm thinking about using some of that to make a wrap. Mix it with... diced apples, black beans, maybe a few soaked raisins, with mashed sweet potato to hold it all together. Season with cinnamon and nutmeg. High protein low fat snack?
Any suggestions? Preferably something easily portable. An ounce of peanuts is tiny and knocks my fat grams way up.

Patience
I just want to be at my goal size NOW. I keep reminding myself that I didn't gain all this weight overnight ... or in a few weeks ... or even a few months! And that if I really want lasting change, it's going to be something that happens slowly. But maaaan... sometimes it just SUCKS.

Snack ideas
Looking for snacks that are somewhat high in protein but low in fat and sugar. Not a big fan of beef jerky. Right now I go with unsalted, dry roasted peanuts, but I'm wondering if there's another option I hadn't considered.

I have heard that breakfast "wakes" your metabolism up, so it's important to eat breakfast soon after you get up. Is there ANY research to back this up, or is it one of those many many weight-loss myths?
