Today I am starting my weight loss journey over. I need all the motivation and encouragement I can get. My mom passed away on January 4 of this year and I have been comfort eating since then. I stepped on the scale this morning and decided enough was enough. Please help

STRENGTH TRAINING AND CALORIE BURN
Can anyone help! Is there a way to figure out how many calories you are burning when using the machines at the gym? I work on arms and abs every other day and then legs and abs on the opposite days. I work up a sweat using them, so I'm pretty sure I am burning some sort of calories.

Can anyone help me out with how to upload or manually add a recipe? I tried both ways and it wouldn't add the nutrition stats and I couldn't get it to save.

How often should you measure?
I was just reading some of the posts. I have been with MFP for 5 weeks. I have lost 10 lbs, but I am seeing on post where I should measure myself. I will take my initial measurements in the morning.
