So my doctor told me i have high cholesterol which i figured , but besides exercise.. what foods will help with getting it down?

After reaching your goal weight or size , whats the best way to maintain it ? Isnt it easy to fall back into old habits ?

Cardio only weight loss or weight training?
Any opinions ? Would i burn the fat quicker strickly doing cardio and then pick up weight training later once i reach my goal ? Or just alternate ? Has anyone reached their goals yet with this method please let me know ...
