191 pounds lost since January (288 total). I am no longer obese.
Hit a rather big long term goal today. On December 31, 2016 I weighed 400.8 pounds (BMI of 58) Today I clocked in at 209.2 pounds (BMI of 30) That moves me from obese to overweight on the chart. My waist was 69 inches, chest was 62. Now 41 inches and 42 inches. In July of 2015 I was in the hospital for a broken leg, and…

New Drivers lic photo just shocked me. 270 pounds lost so far.
Decided to get a motorcycle, added that endorsement to my lic so needed a new picture. The difference between the two photos is a bit dramatic. My old lic photo was taken in 2014 when I weighed right around 497 pounds. The new photo was taken last week and I weighed 225. Long way to go yet, but getting there!!!! Just…

Calculating my own calories burned do I have the math right?
Just checking that I have the math correct on calculating my calorie burn per-day with my exercise level. Doing a 30 day time period. I lost 17.5 pounds. I eat roughly 1350 calories per day with very little fluctuation. So that would be 17.5 x 3500 = 61,250 61,250 / 30 = 2,041 2,041 + 1,350 = 3,391 calories burned per day…

Weighing potatoes question.
I understand the water loss aspect of weighing a baked vs raw potato for calorie count. But does that matter on boiled potatoes? The way my prep works its inconvenient to weigh them after pealing before dumping them into the pot. But easy to weigh after. I'm not stressing about it too much, as even if I am off an oz that's…
