I loved David Suchet's portrayal of Agatha Christine's Hercule Poirot. It was an amazing series and is such comfort tv for me. Who knew I'd love…

Chit Chat: What's on your mind?
We are a small group, so I just thought I'd start a chit chat thread for people who are looking for more daily interaction on the forums. Post whatever (within reason) you'd like, and feel free to discuss small stuff. (Larger topics and issues will probably be better organized in their own threads.) It's Monday, the Eagles…

Self Help/Motivational/Be A Better Person Books
Just finished Don't Sweat the Small Stuff,... and It's All Small Stuff by Richard Carlson today. Nice little book about calming down and not being such a terror. Very helpful for the perfectionists of the world. (le sigh) Anyone have suggestions of books you've found to be helpful and/or inspiring?

Non Food Treats and Rewards
Hey all! I am super into treating myself and the concept of rewards. I'm separating food and treats, and thought it might be helpful to list some things that people reward themselves with that aren't food related. I am very interested in beauty and skincare products as well as anything that adorns my body (If you love it,…

Dropbox of Supportive Behaviors
I just wanted to create a place where I could keep track of supportive behaviors that I find. I read a lot and like to glean useful, evidence based information from the world to make this project easier. I am a planner and a researcher so I am looking for behaviors that are supportive of weight loss and health. When I find…

Is anyone else doing pretty well?
Hi all! I am a single 38 year old woman who is trying to lose 100+ lbs. But, and I feel it's necessary to stress this: I'm doing pretty well. I have always had high (though sometimes admittedly fragile) self esteem, I'm hilarious, I have great friends/family and finally, now that I started to actually try to change my…
