I'm just at a loss
I'm 100 lbs overweight. Not much weight lifting history. Want to add strength training to my diet. Heard it's healthy. But I can't afford a trainer 3 times per week. And I don't know the exercise to do, etc. Thinking stronglifts 5X5? The fitbod app? But that sounds like a long gym session. I just don't know where to begin.

Does the app show how to do the exercise? Are beginner starting weights listed anywhere?

The exercises. Can I change them up to other stuff? Or just stick with the program? Just seems like it'd get monotonous.

Stronglfts 5x5 confusion
Please tell me if I am missing something. Isn't it just 5 reps of 5 for 3 exercises? Seems like you'd whip that out in 10 minutes. I just don't get it. Help!
