Having done Atkins back in 2005, I lose 80 lbs on it in 8 months which was great. Once I ran into life stresses, obstacles, laziness, boredom, I tended to have carb creep and have gained it all back plus some. What is good weekly weight loss goal?
I am looking to lose about 140 lbs to hit my goal. I don't know if I should set a weekly goal of 2lbs, 1.5lbs, or 1lb. I plan on working out 3-4 times a week, lifting weights and some cardio. I am at a desk all day for my job, so I picked sedentary when setting up my profile. Any suggestions on what worked for you? Thanks.

So I am trying to figure out if points or calories are better? The notion that all calories are equal when counting seems outdated. WW's points system counts points based on fat, fiber, sugar, sodium. That seems better. Any thoughts?

How do you fight through cravings?
Curious what works for you when you want to eat that donut, fast food order, or any other high calorie, high fat, high sugar food, but don't go through with it? What foods do you keep on hand to avoid falling into the temptation?

Please note- I don't eat Tuna, Mayo, Pork, and I refuse to use disgusting work microwaves to warm up anything. Lifting weights vs cardio for losing weight
I am beginning to track calories, and want to know if lifting weights will help me burn fat better than doing cardio? Or is it more beneficial to do BOTH?
