Can anyone help?
I have bought a Vivoactive 3 only 3 weeks ago. I have put my details into MFP. I dont do any exercise as such but I am trying to hit 10,000 steps a day, I dont manage to everyday but I am trying. My question is does Garmin send to MFP any extra calories depending on the amount of steps I do? In Garmin connect it is showing…

Gaining Weight
I do not know what I am doing wrong. I have been tracking my weight consistently for 5 weeks now and I’m gaining weight. I have a Garmin Vivoactive 3 which is telling me active and resting calories I am burning between 2,000 to 2,100 a day. I am eating 1500 a day. I started off at 145.8 pounds and now I am weighing at…

Calorie Deficit
How do I know to be in a caloric deficit everyday? I have a Garmin Vivoactive 3 which tells me Im burning roughly 2000 to 2,100 calories per day thats my resting calories and doing 10,000 steps a day. Do I just look at the days before burn and subtract 500 calories from that?

Garmin and Exercise
So I have a daily calorie intake of 1,210 but I know I am meant to eat some of my exercise calories back. I am only walking daily because I am easing myself into fitness. My garmin is tracking my steps and giving me more calories to eat but when I track a walk on my Garmin its giving me more calories for the walks. Should…

I think I understand more now!!
Thank you to the kind person who posted a link for me. Basically MFP puts me at a deficit of 1,210 calories a day but I didn’t understand that doesn’t take into account any of my physical activity. So if I was to eat just 1,200 calories and burn 200 calories and NOT eat those back then I would actually be eating at a…

What about Sick Days?
Okay I’m new around here. MFP puts me at a 1,200 calorie deficit to lose a pound per week I’m 150lb female. I know that 1,200 is low so I eat back my exercise calories and track what I’ve burned throughout the day on my FitBit blaze. Now today I’ve been poorly so even though ive been lying in bed all day I’m still burning…

Eating back Exercise Calories
Hi sorry if this is a silly question. I’m 150lbs 5’4 female and I am eating 1,500 calories a day. I’m tracking my steps and calories burned on my Fitbit Blaze. Now I am exercising about 3 times a week. Do I eat back my calories like it states to in MFP or not if I want to lose weight?

Discrepancies!
As I’ve stated before I’m new to all this. Now my iPhone so far today has logged my steps as 6,713. But my Fitbit has logged my steps as 8,700. How accurate are these Fitbits or am I best getting another activity tracker?

Don’t understand!!
I’ve logged all my food this week. I’ve got the app linked to my Fitbit. I’ve burnt calories every day, some days going to the gym. My total calorie deficit for the whole week is 3,658. As I understand it 3500 is 1lb of fat. The scales are saying I’m the same weight. Is my Fitbit overestimating my calories burnt?

Calories in V Calories Out
I am new here and really need some help. I am a 34 year old 5"4 female who weighs 150 pounds who eventually has about 20 pounds to lose. I am not sure how to create a deficit through eating/burning calories. I've read that I should not be eating below my BMR which on my fitness pal calculator states 1365. Does this mean…

I have put my details into MFP and it states I should be eating 1,200 cals a day. I am struggling with this. Any tips? Thanks in advance.
