Confession: I am a highly sensitive person so this phenomenon may be unique to me or others like me so no judgment! ;) There are some moves that push me to my limit that move me to tears! It's not a bad feeling just more of an OMG I just pushed THAT hard and my body experiences the sensation of needing to cry. So far,…

For the ladies - Embracing gray hair after years of dying--have you done it?!
Gray hair popped up when I was mid 20s and I never had any other than thought than "Let's get rid of that ASAP!" and so I began dying my dark brown hair! I am turning 45 this year and along with my continued focus on being my best and keeping fit and healthy and strong, I am truly considering STOPPING the hair dying every…

Helping me to find my appreciation for myself?
My weight loss journey and struggle has been a life long event--hating on my body, suffocating in comparing myself to others, not appreciating what my body offers, and forcing myself to try to lose weight almost constantly. I got to a low weight of 127 pounds as a 5'3" 42 year old woman and felt the best I ever have.…

*Body Fat photo eval* Styku says 30.7%!!!! Beyond bummed!!!!
30.7% body fat!! I am 5'3" weigh 135 and am fairly toned, other than some extra weight I carry in my legs and hips. I really did not at all think I was at 30 %!!! Is that accurate? Thoughts?? An inbody scan a year ago pegged me at 15% which I think was also inaccurate. Does it even matter?!!?

It’s been a tough couple of days for me with life and my lack of grace towards myself on this wellness journey. I would love to hear how others have healed their minds along with their bodies. I’m so grateful for how strong and fit I am now and for my body and all it can do and yet I long for peace with myself and not this…

*Confession* I have come so far but I hold myself back with secret eating!
This is me. I am so proud. I have worked my a** off and most of the time, I feel incredible..but there is shame from the fact I eat in secret at times.
