Help new to LC
I have 14lbs to lose so how do I know how many carbs to eat? I’ve never tried LC before but I have a very sweet tooth and I think I may struggle in particular with breakfast.

5000 calories a week on wine!
This is shocking as I write this. MFP exercise calories vs device calories?
I don’t have a device and I’m wondering is it worth getting one or is the comparison pretty similar on MFP?

Protein intake
I don’t normally look at macros but I’ve been so hungry the past few days I decided to take a look. I’m hardly eating any protein. I’m not a big fan of eggs or yoghurt. How do you get your protein into your daily meals?

Is this realistic eating exercise calories?
So I have set my standard calories for 1200 calories per day before exercise. I exercise every day doing at least 1 hour of LES MILLS workouts. Possibly on average 9 hours a week mostly BodyPump and Bodycombat with random workouts in between. Can I eat all these calories back?

Eating exercise calories
I’ve always struggled with this and felt guilty, lost and confused about calories. I’ve gave up, started again and continued on this cycle for far too long. For the first time I’m going to put all my exercise calories in my diary and eat them if I want to and wait and see what happens.

Over calories do you draw a line under it?
Three days in a row Iv been over my calorie entitlement. I can’t see how I would realistically recoup these calories back this week. I count 4000 calories over. Do you draw a line under it and move on or do you undereat the rest of the week and work out a bit more?

Less alcohol
I want to change and I’m ready now to do it. The issue I have is not food it’s alcohol calories. I drink a bottle of wine after work every night and more at the weekend. Did anyone log their daily calorie intake before trying to eat healthy?

I’ve used the calculator and my maintenance calories are 1798. So if I want to lose weight I just eat under this amount?

Is there anyone not counting calories?
I find that when calorie counting I end up binging if I feel guilty. Is there anyone else that is just cutting back, exercising more and not logging?

Calories set at 1200 by mfp
So how much calories do you really eat back when exercising? Is it half of them? Or should I calculate my tdee including exercise and aim for below that?

Starting over
I’ve been off the rails recently or maybe I’ve never been on them! I’m starting today as I’m at my heaviest although just over a stone to lose in total. Back to my gym classes and organising my food diary. I feel I’m in a better place than I have been for ages. It’s a good feeling to feel motivated again! 🤗

I’m 8st 13 wanting to get back to 8st where I feel comfortable as I’m not tall. I keep coming across threads that mention body recomp. My tdee is around 1750. What is it and what do I need to do? 🙄

Water apps I don’t understand
I don’t get how this works. How do you see that your going in the right direction if it fluctuates on a daily basis. I think I would self destruct if my weight was going up rather than down 🥺
