Gained - Confused
I have a lot to lose so getting frustrated. I started 8 weeks ago at 133kg and haven’t lost much. I was set to sedenatary and was letting my Fitbit tell MFP what extra was needed. That didn’t seem to be working, so I unhooked Fitbit from MFP as this was all getting me down so started logging extra exercise on MFP. I do…

Settings when Fitbit connected
Please can someone let me know. I have a new Fitbit (last one seemed to be giving too many cals). I want to make sure before connecting I have everything set right. Previous MFP was on Sedentary so was FitBit. Is that correct and let FItbit send over what I do extra or should I set it to lightly active (which is what I am…

Fitbit recommends
I used to have a versa which worked great but upgraded to a versa 3. It seems to be way over estimating my calorie burn 800 for an he walk - 3miles) for example. I’ve been looking at the sense. Can anyone recommend an accurate monitor? Getting a bit annoyed I haven’t lost last 2 weeks and no decent logs of exercise.

MFP calories needed
Hi, I was using slim fast so put my calories to a custom goal. I’m now counting calories so want MFP calories instead. How do I put it back to MFP recommending cals?

Trust the Fitbit?
To start, I’m a heavy lady (42yrs) just starting again my weight loss journey after COVID set me back by 33kg! Exercise is new too after a couple years focussing on other things. I have everything set as sedentary and then use some of my exercise calories to bump things up a bit. Normally I’d go for a 45 min bike ride and…

Activity level using fitbit
Hi, Does it matter which activity level I select if my fitbit is connected to MFP? I’m set quite low as I’m at a computer all day and only really exercise when I want to if that makes sense. But starting to move a bit more now spring has sprung. My fitbit is sending a decent amount over for walking but concerned it’s too…

Adding exercise

Left over cals
Happy Saturday! Please can you tell me with having 4K net cals here does that mean I can have a little bit extra this week if required? I usually eat around 1/4 - 1/2 my exercise cals per day

Fitbit to MFP
I don’t understand why some of my exercise cals don’t come over. Today I walked 5km and burned 637 at 8pm and 12km exercise bike burning around 400 (midday) and only the bike r has gone over. Any ideas?
