I hurt my achilles a few months ago... wore a boot for 6 weeks and am now all healed. Want to buy a new pair of running sneakers, but I'm not sure what to look for? Do I want a stabilizing sneaker or something with a higher heel? I am considering the Nike Lunar Eclipse 2+. Any suggestions/recommendations would be much…

I'm training for a 50 mile bike ride in June and it was recommended to drink 1st Endurance EFS and have salt tablets. Just wondering if anyone has any advice about this either pro or con? I'm pretty anti-supplements in general, but would be willing to try them if they're important.

Substitute for mandarin oranges and dressing in salads?
I enjoy the canned mandarin oranges in syrup in my salad, but I know they're not the best as they're high in sugar. What else can I put in my salads for some sweetness? I try and stay away from craisins and raisins too, although I do enjoy them. I mostly have carrots, cucumbers, tomatoes, peppers, corn, egg whites, chicken…

Butternut Squash - How do I know if this is good?
Ok, I LOVE butternut squash. I cut it into cubes and boil it and then mash it with the potato masher. Add some cinnamon and that's it. I'm sure it's delicious with brown sugar and butter, but I try and stay away from that. It takes a long time to peel and cut, but it's worth it! I just cut into one and here's what I found:…
