Sweat and intensity
So I have an odd question. I'm probably high beginner near intermediate level exerciser (at least for cardio) with a lot of weight to lose but exercising pretty regularly. I've been trying lots of different things. Well when I do something like zumba or jazzercise, I sweat like crazy, and also feel that my heart rate is…

Good structured program for beginners
What is a good structured program for fitness for beginners. I am probably over what I "should" be by about 90 lbs, and am 45. I was doing a lot of walking last fall and zumba (mostly gold) and some leslie sansone and that was all good. I got to slacking around the holidays and am trying to get back into a routine now. I'm…

Hours on the weekend
Would anyone else like it if PF was open later on the weekends, particularly Sat and Sunday? Mine closes at 7, which means if I want to get in a workout I need to get over there by 5:30 and if I have any afternoon thing going on that is kind of tricky. I'd love it if they were open till say 10.

They are all on gaiamtv which I've already paid for.…

Every year I go on this big camping event, where there is a lot of walking and some pretty big hills and ooh it's rough. I have almost no hills at home, and each year it's been harder and harder going up the worst hill there. Well this year I've been walking on the treadmill, doing the weight machines, doing zumba, and…

Circuit training steps
I love the 30 minute circuit training at PF except for one thing..the steps they have there at my PF are just TOO high. I think the idea is your supposed to step up and down the whole time between weight stations, but the steps there are a lot higher than say a normal stair tread, and too high to step on for each time…

Strength training every day versus every other?
I've been doing the weight machine part of the circuit at Planet Fitness, with the machines pretty much set up as high as I can manage and some strength training at home with dumbells or resistance bands. I'm not worried about that causing bulky muscles, I think you really have to work to get that, I just want to be a lot…
