Boxing, Weights or both?
Would like to develop more strength in my upper body. I walk a lot which has left me with very strong lower body, but due to scoliosis I find it difficult to work out my upper. Swimming only does so much and well to be honest i am fed up with washing my hair everyday LOL. Also am not feeling confident or safe at work/home…

after a long hiatus I'm back!
Approx 8 months ago I gave up and wanted to eat all the things that I shouldn't. I kept up a moderate lifestyle though and thank god I only put 7 kgs back on. It could have been a lot worse, but I'm back. Back to eating small healthy meals and exercising daily. Its the success stories and motivation from the MFP members…

Small Progress
Hi guys, Just sharing my little weight loss since I started in August. I started out at 167kgs and am now down to 154.3kgs. I wish I could have put it in my siggy, but I joined MFP after a couple of months loosing. Still battling the depression, but am learning to just exercise instead of eating. :) M_R

Excercise calorie query
I work at a job where I'm standing for 5 to 7 hours a day and it says that I burn off nearly 3000 calories (approx for 7). Is this right?, cause I feel I'm putting weight back on. Not that I;m eating over my 1800 calories anyway. My co worker who is very fit will do 20 mins on the treadmill (jogging) at the gym and he said…

Water help!
wondering if anyone's got any advice about increasing water intake. Dr says I need to drink more, but I don't drink really that much and try to force it down makes me sick. Usually I'll have 5 -6 cups off coffee a day, on a thirsty day. I made some cordial up and tried that, but just couldn't keep it down with my bad…

Dreppressed dieter
I have been referred to a hospital run program to loose weight. Ever since I have been on this new food program, I have been miserable and its nothing to do with eating less or healthy. I'm angry that I'm not accepted and that I have to change myself, just to satisfy other people insecurities. Plus just doing everyday…
