Conquering the C25K fear
About 2 weeks ago I wrote a topic about wanting to start the C25K but nervous about sticking with it. I am proud to say that I have just completed week 2 and starting tomorrow I go to week 3. Am I nervous, you betcha. But the difference now is...I refuse to quit. That is hugely in part to the wonderful responses I received…

obsessed with the scale
How do I stop this. I know you are only supposed to weigh in once a week, however, I weigh myself at least 4 times a day. Not sure why, but it is like I have to. How do I stop that aside from throwing the scale away. If I hide it I will know where it is and get it. I can't get rid of it. Has anyone else had this?

Running question
I am new to running. Actually I just started W6 of the C25K. I totally love it and look forward to getting out there each week. The only problem, as I get more into the longer distances, I notice that my left shin is killing me. Has anyone had this and if so, how do you deal with it and help get past it.

I am starting to wear clothes that had "shrunk" when I washed them. The running is huge for me as whenever I would quit that, somehow I would always quit everything…

Is this really me?
This is the first time I have ever posted to a "success" topic and these are really small but mean a lot to me. Three things that I find amazing. 1 - I am wearing clothes that I didn't fit into just two weeks ago, 2 - I actually look forward to getting home and getting out there to go running and 3 - someone told me today…

Donut substitute anyone
My DH loves donuts and we used to get them on Sunday nights. He wants to still get the donut effect without the actual donut. Do any of you have recipes or suggestions for a donut substitute? Something baked sweet that can be a desert?
