Newbie with lots of questions
Today was my first day, Workout A, and I have several questions. I'm brand new to weight training and am hoping it helps me blast through this dreaded plateau I've been on for months. I'm really more of a cardio-girl (love to run), but I know I need to incorporate strength training to get to where I want to be. Any…

Cardio ideas with runners knee?
Is the rule of thumb if you have runners knee "Just do whatever doesn't hurt?" I can't run (at all) without it hurting and I can't walk downhill or downstairs without pain. Are there better cardio options than others while I'm healing?

Anyone taking Proactol?
Wondering if anyone has any first hand knowledge (i.e. you've taken or are taking it yourself) of Proactol Plus? Not interested in discussing the pros/cons of supplements. Just wondering what people who have taken this product think of it?

Calories burned with HRM
Just wondering how many calories you burn, using an HRM to track the calories burned. I've noticed my running app, Mapmyrun, estimates my runs much higher than my HRM, as does the cardio equipment at the gym. 3-4 mile AM runners-do eat anything first?
I run 3-4 miles, 3-4 times a week first thing in the morning. I usually do not eat anything before I run, but heard that eating something may help me run better. But then someone else said it would give me cramps. Does anyone have any experience/input on this?

Eating exercise cals and Eat More to Lose - same thing?
After reading the various threads on eating more and eating back your exercise calories, I decided to give it a try. But I am wondering if those two concepts are two different concepts, or one in the same? I know there is a group on here called Eat More to Lose. Is that different from simply eating back your exercise…

MFP's calories burned numbers
Is it just me, or does it seem like the number of calories burned MFP calculates for exercise is really high? When I do a 3-mile run and enter it on my running app, it says I burned around 300 calories. The same run at the same pace, MFP calculates at 717 calories burned. That's a HUGE difference! =O Thoughts?

41 pounds down
After nine kids and being a size 18 for about 18 years, I never thought I'd really lose the weight. I still have far to go, but feel better than I have felt in years. My weight loss story is...unique...in that my 13 year old daughter is really the "secret" to how I lost it all. The full story is on my blog…
