Getting past the threshold
I am starting to get really discouraged. I don't think I can work out any more than I am already (45-60 minutes a day but I work from home and babysit) and I don't think I can eat any less without literally starving myself. I am eating around 1100-1200 calories a day and have already swapped lunch for a low fat smoothie…

Looking for the best HR monitor/wrist band...fitbit or wait for the apple watch?
I have saved up some money and want to invest in a good HR monitor/activity tracker that syncs with my phone and mfp. I have read mixed reviews on the accuracy of the Fitbit Charge HR, especially when doing high intensity work outs, or in cold weather (I live in Canada - we still have 2 feet of snow right now and more…

I am going back to work and I know it will be difficult to prepare healthier meals for me AND a regular meal for my husband and son (they won't eat all the salads and things I would! Plus it is expensive for a family to eat that way all the time!) so I am considering trying Nutrisystem for myself, to help with my weight…

Ripped in 30 meal plan?
Has anyone done the Ripped in 30 DVD by Jillian Michaels and also done her meal plan that is available on her website? I just printed it off and am thinking about trying it. I live in Canada and groceries are expensive here, so I am wondering if this will be a super expensive diet for a month? Any tips and ideas to try to…

Question for women who have had babies!
I have been working out 5 days a week on average for at least 30 minutes a day (Jillian Michael's dvds mostly!) for 5 months now AND watching what I eat, eating around 1200 calories each day (net 500 ish) and really trying hard and have been at a plateau for almost 5 weeks now. Probably am gaining muscle and also losing…
