Can you use more than one device for different things?
I just bought a fitbit blaze that I will use to track the majority of the time. I also have a misfit that I wear when I swim. I would not be using both devices at the same time. Can I synch both devices separately for the time period that I was only using that one device?

I just got the flash today. I cannot download the owner's manual to my computer. Can I wear the flash in a hot tub at the gym or do I need to take it off after swimming?

So I have decided to go with polar based on all of your info yesterday. Now my question is...they have FT4 for women. Amazon has a low rating for the one made for women. Does a woman need to get one that says it is for women?

Fat 2 Fit
So I bought the Fat 2 Fit book and I am reading it now. I went to the webpage and it says that if I am sedentary I should eat 1906 calories. I teach school and hardly ever sit down. You know how it says that the recommended weight loss is one pound per week. Do most people do the recommended track or do they try for 1 1/2 pounds or more?

500 calorie deficit
Do I follow the calorie totals on "my home" or am I supposed to subtract 500 calories from that? If I subtract 500 I will only be eating a little over 800 calories. I was looking at my goals and it said that I should have a 500 calorie deficit each day. Thanks

New to fitness pal
Hi, I just signed up for fitness pal. I have been using the fitbit and I am excited to be able to use this site. I teach school and would like to lose weight before my son gets married in May. I hope to get a lot of support from this site.
