Having a hard time with calorie intake
My fitness pal suggests that I eat 1200 calories a day. I have lost over 35 pounds so far, but I feel that I have gotten comfortable and I'm going over my calories more often that staying at my goal. Heart Rate Monitor
Not sure if I'm getting a accurate reading on my heart monitor. I lost my instruction manual to it, but it's the $30 wrist heart monitor that I purchased at Wal Mart. Are you supposed to record your heart rate during your work out? I'm just not understanding how this thing works.

vegetable calories
I have heard different people say that they don't count calories from thier vegetables. For example, I snack on carrots at work so should I not count the carrots into my daily budget??? I've heard people say that "you can eat vegetables all day long and not have to count them, not sure that I understand this???

Calories Burnt
Is the "calories burnt" on my elliptical accurate?? For example I ran for 43 mins and it said that I had burned 600 calories. I have the resistance set on 6. Does this sound about right??
