I a curious how much everyone else lost at the 3 month mark.... I am almost 3 months post op and have lost 50lbs.... is that average?

So how did everyone feel the first few days of post op?

Too much weight loss?
Hey everyone. I'm curious how many pounds a day you were loosing after surgery. I'm loosing at a rate if 2-3 lbs a day. Is that too much? I'm really worried about loose skin and really didn't expect such a big daily weight loss.

Started puréed diet
So I started my puréed diet today (I am 5 days post op) I'm not having any hunger pains, my stomach doesn't growl, and I have no cravings. Really weird! Lol however I'm only able to get about 1/4 cup and I feel a brief pressure and I stop eating. I think the pressure feeling is air or gas. But is this normal for everyone…

Well I am 4 days post op. The gas is almost gone and I'm actually pretty comfortable, just get tired easy. Keeping up in my zofran and Pepcid but only using pain meds when needed and I haven't really needed them. I have been doing my walking and have been drinking my clear liquids. I can eat about a half f a jello cup in…

Well today is the day. I was supposed to go in at 5am but they pushed me back until 1pm :-/ but that's ok :-)

My surgery is Friday at 7:30am time has flown by and the crazy thing is I don't feel anxious or nervous. I might come Friday morning but so far so good :-)

Today is day 4 of my pre-op diet, 10 more days until surgery. I thought the diet was going to be tough but surprisingly I am doing well..not really hungry at all. Surgery on 4/4/2014
So I have a little over a month before my surgery any suggestions for prep before my surgery? Any things you would have done differently? In about two weeks I am going to start transitioning to liquids and I have already started my vitamins...need to also start cutting out my coffee.... I currently drink ALOT of coffee!

Its gonna be a long two weeks!
So I started my pre-op diet and I can already tell it is going to be a long two weeks. Eating these tiny portions and I am still hungry... I am hoping after a few days I wont be so hungry in between meals.

Cutting Coffee
So I am a HUGE coffee drinker, I drink it ALL day.... starting today I am cutting back to one cup a day and between now and my surgery in 30 days I am going to slowly stop drinking coffee....wish me luck LOL
