It just dawned on me...
...that I am wearing size 18 pants. 18's!!!!! 5.5 months ago I was pretty much a size 24 and now I'm in 18's?! It's crazy, but so exciting. And it really made me realize that when I'm getting too focused on what I still have ahead of me, that I need to take a look back at just how far I've come and be proud of that.

New Balance Pearl Fitness Heart Rate Monitor
Thinking about spending a little $ to get a HRM and I was wondering if anyone has this one. It has good reviews on Amazon and Target, but I wanted to get fellow MFP reviews. I'm on a bit of a budget, so I can't and don't want to get a super fancy one, but this looks good for the price. Any input is appreciated! Thanks.

J.M.'s Yoga Meltdown
Just got it, haven't watched it or done it yet, but how do you log it? I'd imagine, from what I've read, that it's more intense than regular yoga so I don't know how to log it once I do it. Thanks!

Something about the 22's
I started at 267 and it's really weird but I am really excited & proud to have hit the 22's again. The 25's were a good start, 24's marked my first 20, 23's were a challenge, but the 22's have me on cloud 9 and while I look forward to everything below this too, I am just super excited to be where I'm at. Going to post…

Last night's NSV
So last night I went out do dinner with my family for my sister's 21st birthday. About 2 weeks ago I raided my closet for old, skinnier, clothes as I am shrinking out of all of my fat ones, and I found a pair of jeans that I vaguely remember buying and rarely ever wore as they were too tight. They're a darker, thicker wash…

Stretch marks
So for others who are deflating like me  what do you recommend for getting rid of these nasty stretch marks that have accumulated over the years?

30 Day Shred
I bought the 30DS dvd this morning and did level 1 this afternoon. Was hard, but I think I did pretty well for day 1. Looking forward to seeing what results it should bring, seeing as I finally broke out of my 2week + plateau this morning. I am gonna sleep very well tonight though, I'm beat!

13 weeks, 31.5 lbs gone!
Since March 17th I have lost 31.5 lbs! I feel awesome to have hit this mark, which is about 1/3 of the real goal weight I would LOVE to be. In the past 4 weeks as well I have also lost a 1/2" on my waist, hips, arms and just about everywhere else. I feel like people are FINALLY noticing I'm losing weight too, because…

23's!
I started in Mid-March at almost 270 lbs on my 5'5' frame, and this morning I am clear into the 23's at 239.0!! So excited for that today

First 20!
Hit my first 20 this morning! So excited today! I still have a loooong way to go, but this is such a great mark for me. And, I am right on track too with losing 10 a month, as this Thursday is my 8 week mark. Also, last night I rode a bike for the first time in years! I haven't been on one in so long due to my weight and a…

DDR
I just bought DDR (Dance Dance Revolution) for my playstation and though I have yet to get it, I was wondering what it would qualify as under Exercise? I'm thinking Aerobics, but if anyone else has one and has some tips I'll take them! :)

My first 6 weeks
In the past 6 weeks I have gone from 267 to 249lbs. I am eating much better and feeling healthier every day. I have found ways to satisfy my need for cooking with healthier meals that still feel a little chefy. My body is stronger and more toned than it has been in YEARS and I can't believe how energiezed I…

Pacing myself
When I started this I figured I could lost 10lbs a month, and set out towards that goal. One month in I am down 11.6 and it's great. Thing is, for some reason it doesn't feel like enough, like it's not coming off fast enough. I'm a college student and the end of this semester is crazy and I think that my focus on my diet…

Having guests with success
Today was the first day that we've had company over since I've started watching what I eat. I had already planned out what lunch was going to be, and made yummy low-cal dessert brownie things, in order to keep on track for the day. Well, my sister-in-law also brought dessert, which was lighter (thankfully). She brought…

Good article
Cookinglight.com is my new favorite friend. As a person who LOVES to cook I am so glad to have found them otherwise this weightloss would be alot harder for me. But, not only do they have great recipes, they have great articles on nutrition and such. They put this one up yesterday (or at least that's when I noticed it) and…

Little Annoyed
Between St. Pat's day and the 27th I lost 7lbs quick. This week: NOTHING. It's driving me nuts. I am hitting my cals everyday, and exercising when I can and nothing. So, I'm gonna try to watch my carbs and eat less of them, more protein. I've been having soda (diet coke) daily too, so I'm gonna try to kick it the next few…

I just can't help myself
I know you're not supposed to get on the scale everyday, but since I started all this last week for real, I just can't help it. The instant gratification of seeing the number go down on a daily basis is a constant reminder and motivator that this IS working, and not to give up. Right now it's still a day to day thing, and…

Doing this for real
Hey there! I am 26 and when I was 20 I weighed 202. I went on Slimfast, lost 20lbs, and was quite pleased....but I got lazy, and life happened and I gained back that 20lbs, and 60 more. So here I am now half-way to 30 and fatter than ever. But I am finally taking the time for me and changing all of that and right now my…

A&E's "Heavy"
Anyone else watch this show? I love it. At first, I really didn't want to watch it, but I find it so much more motivating than something like "The Biggest Loser" because it's not a game. I always feel so inspired while watching it and think, if these people can do this, so can I! I think it had a big hand in me finally…
