I have a very short stride, so when I set the treadmill on 3 mph, I can match my steps to someone who has theirs set on 4.5. It isn't "moderate" pace, for me, it's speed walking. How do you describe your body type?
There's a pretty heated discussion going on about what "curvy" means on another thread. How do you describe your body type? I could be called "curvy" based on my measurements. I'm an hourglass, but a very full hourglass, so I much prefer the terms zaftig or roundy. ETA: I hate "plus size" and "thick."

No food yesterday. Make up today?
So, I had a migraine, on top of my regular anxiety disorder yesterday, and I ended up staying in bed for 18 hours. Because of that, I consumed absolutely nothing yesterday. Should I balance that out with a few extra calories today, or just ignore it and keep my usual diet?

My friend, who is the same height as me, and who wears about two sizes bigger than me, is about 50 pounds lighter than me. WTF?? I know it's ot just about the number on the scale, but that's ridiculous. Right?

What's up with womens' only rooms in gyms? Aside from religious reasons, I can't imagine why anyone would want to use this area. Exhausted, not losing
So I've been doing this (this round) for about 20 days. I'm consistently netting about 1800-1900 calories (I'm allowed 2300). I'm working out 5 or 6 days a week. Feet cramping
When I'm doing any cardio, recumbant bike, treadmill, elliptical, whatever (even just walking the dogs), my feet cramp up. It's like a Charlie horse along the arch.
