Box Jumps - Working up to 24"
Hey! Does anyone have any tips to working up to doing 24" box jumps? I started on a 12" platform last night but I still don't feel steady. Is this just a comfort thing? I see these tiny women doing it (I think they are Cheerleaders and SUPER fit anyway) and I feel so silly that I can't do even half the same height. Are…

LAST 10 LBS - any advice?
Does anyone have advice or comments on the last 10 lbs? What is best? Keep the loss slow and go for .5/lb per week, or push hard on the exercise and up the calories? The last 10 have been slow and frustrating. I should really say - the last dress size. I'm set to the 1200 calorie Net, but I often eat 1350 with no apologies…

Exercise Class Podcasts? Spinning/Ellptical/ Any
If you can't hit a class but want prompts, do you have any podcasts you would recommend? Does anyone have any good recommendations? I have a great Spinning podcast by Greg Cook, but I've listened to it a lot and it's getting old.

What do you eat to fuel / recover from your workout?
I'm exercising more in the AM and finding that I am STARVING immediately after. If I don't eat enough I over-eat at lunch because I'm still really hungry. What do you eat after a good workout to keep the body happy? High protein? Eggs? Oatmeal? HELP!

Does exercising extra matter?
Some weeks it's just hard to get to the gym more than twice. I try to do a little something every day, but I am not always successful. Does it hurt, help or not matter if I try to burn extra calories on the days when I make it to the gym?

When I have to rest, do I try to burn MORE on off days?
Hello self-made fitness gurus! Need some advice. I am exercising for both weight loss and to gain physical fitness and strength. I am only scheduling myself to lose 1 lb per week, but if I lose more, I will be very happy. It has been slow, so I upped my exercise. I have three days per week where I am nearly guaranteed NOT…

Netiquette
Hi All! I have noticed over the past few days a growing number of negative posts here and there. Or replies to negative posts. I very much enjoy reading and responding to most of the fitness and weightloss advice, successes and encouragement that are on this site and I find it extremely helpful in my own personal weight…
