Been a long time
I used MFP years ago to lose weight. I think from when I started MFP to my lightest (212) I had lost ~140lbs from my heaviest I assume 200+ (best guess is I was around 425). The last several years my weight has been creeping back up. I am now sitting at nearly 270. It is very disappointing to see the scale at that number.…

Need motivation to keep going
So I'm 32 years old and have lost ~130 pounds. I would really like to lose another 20-30 to get down around 185-190. I am finding now that I am getting closer to my goal weight it is getting very difficult to see the scale move and easier to drop back in to old habits of snacking and drinking. Great Start to the New Year (130lbs lost)
What a great way to start the New Year. This morning I weighed myself, as I do almost every morning, and I finally dropped under 220 pounds. That is over 130 lost since I started. Anyway 3 years ago I was dedicated to losing weight. I started June of 2012 and by November I was under 300 lbs. My wife and I went to Kauai…

My success but need motivation

I decided in June of 2012 I needed to lose weight. I have been large my whole life. I have a very dense body and have always been able to hold a lot of weight with no real…

Am I doing it right?
Alright my wife and I have been calorie counting and exercising for about 3 months now. MFP has become our friend. I'm not sure if I am doing this right. I am 6 feet tall, I started out at 345.7 pounds. My ultimate goal is to be around 220-240 lbs. I am a big guy no getting around that, broad shoulders and dense. I started…
