Should I raise my calories for how much I exercise?
I'm trying to eat 1300 calories a day and according to my heartrate monitor, I burn 600-700 working out (30 minutes weights, 1-1.5 hours of elliptical/stepmill). Am I setting myself up for disaster? I'm 5'5" and 128 lbs. trying to lose 10-12 lbs.

Lifting legs with a potential stress fracture?
I'm following a weight lifting plan that is 6 days a week and 2 of the days are legs. I injured my leg and I'm getting an MRI to see if it is a stress fracture. Trying to eat too healthy = weight gain for me

How do you resist the urge to open up the fridge or pantry? Question for those who have used rice protein powder?
I have a tub of vanilla rice protein powder that I plan on using for smoothies. It says one "heaping tablespoon" is 60 calories. How do I determine a heaping tablespoon? Also, any recipe ideas? For now all I can think of is a basic banana protein smoothie. Thanks!

Do you plan your meals out the night before?
I'm considering planning out my meals for tomorrow, tonight. I think it feels like a relief to have it set in stone so I won't be wondering what I'm going to eat and then just start snacking. Then tomorrow I can modify any changes I make. Has anybody else tried this? Did it work for you?
