Lifting legs with a potential stress fracture?

I'm following a weight lifting plan that is 6 days a week and 2 of the days are legs. I injured my leg and I'm getting an MRI to see if it is a stress fracture. It doesn't hurt to do leg exercises with 15lb. dumbbells. Should I sub in chest/back/arms/abs for leg days or just keep doing legs with light weights? I don't want my upper body to be awkwardly defined compared to my legs!

I wouldn't. Your upper body is not going to become unbalanced if you take time off to make sure that you don't have a serious bone injury. But going ahead with the weight workouts if you do have a stress fracture could prove to make matters worse and delay recovery even longer.

Don't work those legs too much until you know for sure what is going on. It won't hurt you to have a few rest days or just work upper body until you know. There is no point in risking further injury.

I had surgery on my knee and continued with upper-body only weights workouts plus the stationary bike for 2mths before my surgery and approx 2mths afterwards.

My body hasn't gained any weird proportions because of it.
