I got my fitbit last month and just started back at the gym. I was wondering if I should add my gym activity on top of what the fitbit is recording. Right now I'm just doing cardo and the fitbit shows definite activity increase during gym time, so I don't want to overestimate calorie burn.
I've been using MFP for about 5 weeks and lost 6 lbs in the first 2 weeks or so just sticking to the calorie count. The past 2 weeks, I've added in lots more exercise: now I"m running about 3 mi 3-4 times a week, walking 1-2 miles several days and biking 10-12 miles about 2 days. Lately I've been a few hundred calories over or a little under my goal on a day to day basis depending on work/social craziness.
