Summer goals
I have let my exercise and diet routine slip due to work. Now that I'm off for the summer I'm determined to lose 15 pounds this summer and get my healthy self back. Any mfp friends on a similar journey?

eating more (still have a deficit) and gaining weight

calories burned using BMF or HRM ?
anybody have both and see a difference in the numbers. My BMF does not seem to record as high of a number...in fact it seems the harder I work out the lower the calories I burn....for instance...zumba shows 500 cals....plyo (p90x) shows 400...and a high intensity (insanity style) only showed 300... for the $ I paid for…

what does your deficit look like?
Weekly I use to have a 7000 cal deficit so I could lose 2 lbs...always at first I would lose the 2 lb then after couple weeks it would stop...and I would start gaining. So now I'm trying to maintain a 3500 calorie (weekly) deficit...or 500 cal a day deficit to lose that 1 lbs... what is a good deficit to have? what works…

BMF/? anyone else have trouble with a cardio reading?
every strange...I did a new class today 'cardioblast' and I thought I was going to die...however, my BMF says I only burned 389....w/zumba which is way easier to me I burn at least 500 cals....I don't get it?? did my heart rate go to high and threw the balance off?

what do you do the next day if you eat under your BMR?
I use to eat fewer calories the next day if I over ate...or I would eat over my calories to make up for undereating on the next day...but thats when I ate 1200 cal...what should I do now? b/c of last minute job interviews I was in my car driving from place to place and didn't have time to stop and eat and didn't have food…
