I don't like thinking about food all of the time.
Today is my 21st day of logging in, and staying on plan, and things are going well. I've lost weight so far, but not too much or too fast. I've been doing the 30 day shred and I genuinely feel like my clothes are fitting better and my body feels better. So this is all good. My one concern is, I feel like all my attention…

NSV
I was able to do some push-ups on my toes today, instead of having to do "girl" push-ups. Yay!

Wednesday 6/20
L2D2 for me. Level 2 is so much harder for me. I can't go rep for rep with the girls, but I can make it through the whole thing. My upper arms are killing me. Day 12, Shredded, Beyotch.

Questions about Muscle.
I have several questions about exercise/muscle that I am hoping you all can help me with... I have often heard that if you begin an exercise routine at the same time as a weight loss diet plan, you may not see results on the scale right away. The explanation I've always heard is that the reason for this is that you are…

Tell me 1lb up is no big deal
I weighed in today 1lb up from last week's weigh in. I've been on plan for the past two weeks, with the exception of Saturday - we were away with family and I let myself have treats, although nothing like I would have done if I hadn't been tracking. I've exercised every day but two. I see nothing on my trackers that would…

Monday 6/18 Update
I'm giving today's post a date instead of a day and level, since it seems like we're all at different places now. I had days off last Tuesday and Thursday due to my schedule. I shredded Wednesday and Friday. Saturday I did an hour of Zumba with my SIL. Yesterday I was back to the shred. That makes tonight my 10th day of…

Hardest / Easiest ?
I have such a hard time with the lunges "Static Lunges?" in circuit two. Not only do my muscles burn, but I keep losing my balance. I think I like the Arm Flies the best. Especially because you get to lay down while you do them. ;)

A happy first weigh-in
One week, and the scale shows 4lbs lost. I have certainly not cut 14000 cals from my diet this past week, so I know some of that is water weight (or whatever it is that always makes the first week give big results.) BUT, it feels great to see it, and helps boost my determination. Now the trick is just to keep going with a…

Do you find it harder on the weekend?
During the week, when I have to deal with my 9-5 grind, I find it easier to be structured, because I don't really have a choice. I plan my meals in advance, I eat them on a schedule, etc. Today, I woke up around 8, had two cups of coffee, read. About 12 I did my workout, then drank my "breakfast" smoothie at about 12:45.…

My sullen, pouty, inner teenager
I find that when I start a new weight loss plan I go through periods of feeling motivated and optimistic, but also through periods when I'm having an internal tantrum, stomping my feet and being resentful about having to measure, and count, and plan. I feel like a moody, pouty teenager - "But I don't *want* to go to the…

Getting my feet wet
Hello all! I'm Christine. 34, married, full time mental health therapist, no kids, living in Charlotte, NC. I've been up and down in my weight since high school, and am currently in an "up" phase, although not at my heaviest. I'm setting my goal at 16 lbs - 20% of my body weight. My hope is to lose the weight without…
