How do you encourage your kids to be active?
It's so easy for kids to spend time on the iPads, watching tv, playing video games and there's so much junk food available everywhere. I try to put healthy snacks in the house and be a good example and include them in my activities. I think it also helps to make exercise fun when we can. :) Looking for any additional tips…

Lighting?
Especially with the shorter days it's harder to get out there during the day. Any recommendations on knuckle lights and/or head lamp? I already make sure to use reflective gear and have some flashing stuff so I'm seen but it would be nice to see where I'm going as well. :) Tia!

I'm looking at getting The Women's Health Big Book of Exercises but wondering if anyone's used anything else that is any better? 10 mile run program?
I just registered for a 10 mile run at the end of October. I have been training for a 10k at the end of August for the past couple months but think I might need to up my game if I'm going to make this new goal. Anyone have any good training program recommendations?
