Hello! My name is Beth and I'm looking for some new MFP pals for fellow encouragement and motivation. I'm VERY active on MFP (by active I mean obsessive, if you log a workout I'll probably congratulate you within a couple hours...or minutes...)
Took up running this spring, ran my first 5K in May and have been hooked ever since, completing a half marathon in early September. Currently training to improve my time for a 10 mile at the end of October. I usually run about 3-5 times per week depending what time allows and how much I feel my legs can handle.
I also like a lot of variety in my workouts so I try to mix it up with different activities as well. If I'm bored I'm not having fun and if I'm not having fun I won't do it. So the easiest fix, at least for me, is to mix it up and keep it fun!
Looking for some fellow friends so please add if you're in the same boat or if just looking for some new friends too.
Anyone want to be friends?
