Unintentionally gaining weight doing PiYo
Hey, I've been through almost 6 weeks of PiYo (the beachbody program), so I'm approaching the end of it. However, I have gained about 5 lbs since starting this program! I've actually decreased my daily calorie intake by about 100 cals per day (from around 1900 to 1800). I also do other workouts several times per week in…

Subway Nutrition Calculator
I normally use the Nutritionix Subway meal calculator (http://www.nutritionix.com/subway/nutrition-calculator) as Subway is one of my go-tos for a quick meal from out. But, I just tried the nutrition calculator on the Subway website (http://www.subway.com/nutrition/nutritionlist.aspx) and got way different numbers! For…

Should I increase my calorie intake?
I have been using My Fitness Pal to log about 1700 calories a day eating. I also exercise 5-6 days a week, pretty hard so I'm guessing I burn at least 300 calories per workout. So, I net around 1400 calories most days. I feel hungry a lot, and my workouts are usually relatively intense -- cardio and weight training. I'm…

Question about this recipe
I may be over thinking this... But could someone look at this recipe and tell me if you think the 402 calories is for one 6 oz. chicken breast, or HALF of a 6 oz. chicken breast? http://www.myrecipes.com/m/recipe/chicken-milanese-with-spring-greens-10000001981729/

In shape, but don't run
I am in reasonably good shape (i.e. I can do an hour at pretty intense resistance/speed on the treadmill or elliptical, do strength training regularly, etc.) and workout 5-6 days a week. But, I don't ever run! I'm really thinking about starting, but I'm not sure where to begin. I know I'm not a "beginner" runner. Most of…

Calorie burning on MFP
How accurate are the calories burned estimates on MFP? Sometimes I worry they're too generous. When I do Jillian Michaels "Ripped in 30," it says I burn about 300 calories (I call it 30 minutes of circuit training). Is this accurate?

Am I doing this right?
I just want to make sure that I'm still on track. I'm supposed to eat 1300 calories a day according to MFP, and I've been doing a relatively good job with it most days. I've been using MFP and exercising at least 4 times per week since mid May. I've lost 17 pounds so far, but sometimes I feel like I don't look like I've…
