50lbs gone, BMI under 30

Fins
Using fins with a kick board worth it? I remember using fins a lot when trainning when club swimming I'm older and fatter now but will it increase leg strength when kicking? I have a tendency to forget to kick my legs if i don't think about it (taking freestyle). will this be effective in a 12m pool? :/

Swimming work outs
So I've been noticing when i swim most of the power and speed comes from my shoulders so I've been adding kick boarding to my swimming work out and I i was thinking of adding fins to increase the strength in my legs but its been so long since i brought any and I'm not sure on the sizing of type to get for a small pool? Swimming
Looking for some fellow swimmer to add to my FL I'm no longer a competitive swimmer and far from that level of swimming my fastest 800m swim is 14ish minutes so i just swim for a low impact excersise. Looking for people to talk swim workings with including increasing fitness and varying routines :)

hmmz - Struggling to up my calories with out carbs
Ive been tracking my calorie intake for a long time and i struggle to up my calories IM over weight and loosing weight so maybe i should worry but today ive spent 2 hours digging overt he garden and ive been on an 5 miles walk as well walking to the garden center and back carrying paint and compost (about 2/3 miles away)…
