Weight machines and a deficit.
Will weight machines change my body even if I am eating at a deficit? I know that I won't gain a lot of muscle... I'm not eating enough for that I know. Is it worth continuing using the weight machines? Also, I just started using the weight machines again this past week and I'm up 2 pounds... is this normal?

I'm still confused about how many calories to eat
Okay. I'm 5'10" and 183 pounds (female), trying to get to around 160. I put my weight loss goal as 1 pound per week, so I have been told to eat 1,590 calories a day. But, that is below my BMR. Eating below my BMR?
My BMR is around 1,740 calories. MFP tells me to lose 1 pound a week, I should eat ~1600 calories a day. Is this healthy or should I up my calories?

Questions about the Thirty Day Shred
Am I supposed to actually do it in thirty days? I haven't started it yet (I'm going to start on July 1st). I saw somewhere that some people do two days of the 30ds, then a day of cardio, then another two days of 30ds, then a rest day. Would it even be safe to do the Thirty Day shred every single day for 30 days?
