Proof that you might need a break
So I've been busting my butt exercising for many months and haven't lost weight. I've been within the same few pounds for awhile. I haven't been frustrated or upset about it because I'm at the top end of my healthy weight and have noticed a change in inches and the way I feel so I've been perfectly happy with it. Well a…

Hurt my foot
I injured my foot last week and in order for it to heal I can do no exercise that puts any pressure on my foot so all my regular cardio routines are out. I'm looking for suggestions of what I can do with my upper body besides just lifting weights. Would appreciate any suggestions or ideas! The injury could make me not be…

30 Day Shred - do you notice a difference?
So I completed Day 20 of 30 Day Shred today...I have photos from Day 1 and Day 20 and am wondering if you notice a difference in me. I'm trying to tone up. I notice a slight difference but always have trouble telling myself as I never think I have changed (hence why I'm taking pictures so I can see it!) I'm sweating a lot…

30 Day Shred - Day 1 and in PAIN!

I can barely move tonight! This might be the push I need to stop this plateau and to start losing again. I kept thinking, "this is…

I went on an interview that in hindsight changed my entire life. It was for the Girl Scouts doing their public relations for the local council. It…

Into a SIZE 6!!!
I started my weight loss journey in 2008 when my mom and I went to Weight Watchers. I was 230 pounds. In two years I was at my goal - 150 and became a lifetime member. Shortly after that I had surgery on my foot and couldn't exercise but maintained pretty well. I then got engaged, moved in with my fiancee and his daughter,…

Eating Fewer Calories
My calorie goal is 1,200/day. I exercise on a daily basis and burn typically 300-600 calories/day. I rarely eat back my exercise calories, at least not all the calories, but I've been eating 1,200 calories/day and lose typically0.4 or 0.8 pounds a week - I know it's a loss so I'm happy about that, but I thought maybe I'd…

Peanut allergy
This year I developed a peanut allergy...it hasn't been officially diagnosed yet but I have self diagnosed it seeing as how I break out in hives every time I eat peanuts. Some of my favorite snacks contain peanuts - and I love peanut butter so I've given all that up. Even some of the snacks that say "May contain peanuts"…
