Proof that you might need a break

So I've been busting my butt exercising for many months and haven't lost weight. I've been within the same few pounds for awhile. I haven't been frustrated or upset about it because I'm at the top end of my healthy weight and have noticed a change in inches and the way I feel so I've been perfectly happy with it. Well a couple weeks ago I bruised a bone in my foot - only 6 weeks before I'm getting married! Needless to say I'm glad I didn't break my foot, but I was still frustrated because now I knew I'd be benched and not able to exercise and was afraid I would go up before my wedding day. I've been sitting nearly nonstop for a week with my foot elevated and wrapped - which is driving me crazy. I've logged everything and even splurged a little sometimes. Well this morning I got on the scale and from last week I was down 2 pounds. I haven't been able to do anything but sit and I lost weight? To me that's proof that my body needed a little break to readjust. I'm doing some upper body work and abs as I can to not lose muscle mass hopefully but I can't wait to get back to my cardio - but probably not until after the wedding. Anyway - wanted to share that in case you're where I am and frustrated about the scale not showing any differences. Hope this helps a little
