Motivation?!?!
So, after moving back to England in October. It has taken me a while to settle in (I've lived in the US for almost 20 years) and get used to things again. Unfortunately after munching a lot of foods that I either couldn't get or didn't realize that I missed. I packed on at least 10-15lb's  Here's the motivation. I'm a…

Happy Valentines Day
Yep, I know I'm a bit late but it's the first time I've had time to write this. I had a great Valentines Day! First, I woke up to a card and flowers on my kitchen table. The card expected the flowers a surprise. Second, the weigh in (usually done on a Friday but I was going out for Chinese that night) I was down…

I have a FITBIT..
Hey, I'm so excited that I got a fitbit for my birthday. I think it may need to be moved from my bra though as according to my fitbit I've taken over 16,000 steps. I do walk a lot but I'm concerned that sometimes I may take one step but my boobs take 2........!!!!

Dr Oz
Hey, So according to Dr Oz (and I trust him more than the others) there is only one way to truly judge belly fat. Measure your waist, bellybutton to bellybutton, you can suck your tummy in as much as you want/can. If it is more than half your height you have to much bellyfat. 5 Foot 4=64 inches, divided by 2 = 32 Thank God…

You know you've made the right decision when....
A 4 year old thinks you weigh 80lb's more than you do!!!! Explanation: I had bought the "People" magazine last week. I don't usually buy it but it was the "half their size" edition. We all love a success story, right! Anyway I work as a nanny and the magazine had been sitting on the kitchen table all week. So towards the…

Hey, So I've been at this for almost 3 months (actually for years but started again 3 months ago......) I could no longer fit into my size 16 jeans. So I started working out and signed up to MFP. I got into my size 16  Last week I had to start wearing size 14..... not because I thought I was ready for them but…

Goals!!
As we know not all of our goals are on the scale. My first goal was to get into my size 16 jeans that I had to give up on in May........check. Next was to get into the jeans that put me on this path in the first place. (I'd bought another pair of size 16 jeans different style/make and couldn't even get them over my…

NSV
Hey, So it took me 3 years to loose 80lb's. It was done by dieting (but not as much as I could) and exercise (but not as much as I should) which is why it took 3 years. I kept it off for a couple of years.........Then I met my boyfriend  We've been together for 2 years and in that time I've managed to "find" 25lb's.…

It's just not right!!!
Hey, So, I've been on MFP for about 6 weeks. I like it a lot, I find it very easy to keep track, not necessarily to stay on track, but to keep track. I get to the gym about 4 times a week. On the days that I don't make it I walk between 3-5 miles. Most days I manage to stay within my calorie allowance. So far I've lost…
