Need time out, took it, now I'm back!
Hello, I'm Grace, 49, from London, and back after taking time out and working through some things. My motivation to log, exercise, and eat well left the building. The thing that annoyed me was clocking up 300+ days of logging, then forgetting to log in for a day. BOOM!!! I lost all of my days and my motivation. However, in…

After a 6 month break, I'm back lifting!!!
I had a little break from lifting and other forms of exercise because I got a bit lazy and let myself go and I have been working at building my business. A little question on squats
I just love squats and have been doing the strong lifts programme again for about 3 weeks. I have been standing with my legs wide and then going down at a normal pace then coming up slowly but not sure how effective it is. So I just want to ask what is the most effective way to squat? All responses will be much appreciated.

Cleaning up my diet is making a difference
I am so happy that I want to share how I reprogrammed my mind to eat more healthily. I first joined MFP three years ago this month and within 5/6 months I got to my goal. Then life happened, i.e. divorce, setting up a business, depression etc. I got lazy then put on 10lbs more than what I started with and became really…

A question about Stronglifts 5x5 programme and abs
I have recently started this programme and I love it. I have noticed that my legs and arms are firming and shaping up and I can see how it will work your back and glutes but I'm not too sure about my abs. How does Stronglift 5x5 help your abs to strengthen? I look forward to the answers.

Is this change in my body normal?
Hello all, I have been following this programme for almost 6 weeks now and I am really enjoying it. I have noticed that I am firming up all over so that is a good sign. The change that I have noticed is in my belly. I actually noticed a couple of weeks ago that when I lay to the side my flab follows too. It feels like a…

I had a break and now I'm back!
Hello pals, I had a break from here because I had an injury which totally screwed up my fitness goals. I started on here August 2012 @ 169lb but because of my knee injury I couldn't do much and went up to almost 190lb but as of today I am 176lb. Even though I am heavier, according to the scales I feel quite fit. On the…

A new goal for me
I have decided that when I get to 11st 12lb or 76kg I am going to start training to run a 10K race next year. I am 2lb away from that. I have done around 5 5K races since 2008 and now I am ready to step up. What new things are you going to do when you lose weight? What milestones do you have for yourself before you reach…
