Books that inspire you...
I'm not really a reader but when it comes to true stories or anything about weight loss -- it captures my attention. I read one book called "He loves Lucy by Susan Donovan" -- loved it. I also read "It was me all along" by Andie Mitchell and now I've been reading "Women, Food, and Desire" by Alexandria Jamieson. Do you…

Slowing it down....eating too fast.
I eat to fast. A while back a friend's son said something to me about eating so fast. I was embarrassed. I know he wasn't meaning to be mean but I became very self conscious about it for awhile......but I'm back to eating fast again. I don't realize it until I have finished my food that others who had started eating before…

Evening calories.....
Sometimes in the afternoon I may want something but when I see how many calories I have left for the day I think to myself that I may want to conserve them for dinner. Do you save a certain amount of calories for your evening meal?

I am trying hard to eat healthy but I also have to balance my sweet tooth. A friend recommended that I eat frozen grapes. I put 10 in a bag and freeze them and hey…

In the right zone to burn fat?
I have been struggling with losing weight and I have contribute it to the fact that I just turn 60 and that what worked before, isn't working now. I was a part of a running group and was running 4-6 miles three times a week and still not losing weight. I wasn't eating perfect but i wasn't eating badly either. To make a…

Would like some friends as I go along this journey
I fairly new to this site and on every day. While I enjoy reading the community list, I would like to network, follow, be friends with others who are committed to this journey of losing weight and getting healthy. I am older than a lot of people on this list (at least from what I have seen) and while at the time my body…
