UP Band

I was just checking my UP's Band by Jawbone on how many steps I did. When I went to my activity to see if there is a place for me to put it in, I have a message about using my UPs band. Are they sync automatically?

I'm confused.....unfortunately, because I teleworked today I don't have a lot of steps. Tomorrow, if I go to work I normally get 12,000. I walk a lot!
